As I type this, I'm watching the live news coverage of the mass shooting at an exercise center near Pittsburgh. I live about an hour from Pittsburgh, so this definitely hits close to home. My heart is so heavy hearing that this may have been the result of a domestic dispute and that innocent people have died along with the shooter. Thoughts of Columbine immediately cross my mind along with the training that I've gone through on what to do "if" something of that nature would occur....how have we come to this? My heart is so sad, especially for all those involved and their families who've had their lives changed forever.
With this said, I'm not going to talk much about my card...I started working on it when the news broke, and I'm very happy with how the card turned out. I used some paint chips (from Lowes in the paint technique section) to create a border at the bottom.

Oh my goodness Stephanie... this is so cute! I love it! I love 4 little chicks in a row! I had heard a snippet of that news story but wasn't sure what had happened... it is very sad. We really are not safe anywhere. It is so scary! Thanks for the deets and I will be sure to say a prayer for the families affected by this!
Great card. I just heard about the shooting and it is very sad and I just don't understand why?
this has got to be the cutest card I have ever seen, sweeet!

Oh my, this card is beyond cute! I love it! I'll keep the PA people in my prayers.
Super cute card, I live about 2 hours from Pittsburg but it still hits close to home. My heart too is heavy!!
There is a lot in the news lately to cause a heavy heart. I am glad you do live so far away and are safe, but it is so sad for those families.
I do like your card, it is very cute.
Hey girlie... Loved your sweet email! :) You didn't have to give me credit for anything! This is pure PTI inspiration!! :)
I know, that news is very disturbing. I will never understand such acts of violence.
Your card is darling! That set is on my wish list. I love your paint swatches, too!
I wish the world could be as simple as stamping and sharing crafting ideas (your card is just too cute for words). I don't understand people who want to cause so much hurt and pain. It really is scary when these things hit so close to home.
