So you're going to laugh - while summer means lots of things in my mind; I mostly think about how much time I have before heading back to school. I've already gotten most of my to-do list done, and I'm about ready to do some school-related items that I brought home for the summer. Summer days seem to fly by, so my card reflects that.
I created welcome back cards for my students. I send these out each year. I love the play-on-words with "Whale-come Back" - my students will get a kick out of my corniness :) I tried printing it directly on the DP, but it was too difficult to read.

Aren't the colors so summery and fun? The DP is from DCWV's Fun in the Sun summer matstack - I just love the polka dots, and they go so perfectly with these two ribbons from American Crafts that I picked up awhile ago at Michaels.
Details:
Stamps - Sea Creatures (MyGrafico digistamps)
Ink - Copics (C-1, B00, B05)
Paper - Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, white (Georgia Pacific), green (Archivers), DCWV Fun in the Sun summer matstack
Accessories - Nestabilities (circles & scallop circles), white gelly roll, Swiss Dots EF, American Crafts ribbons, Bookworm font (sentiment)
Thanks for stopping by!!
