This week's challenge is Fourth of July!!
There are so many things that run through my head when I think of the 4th...cookouts, parades, red/white/blue, our country's independence, fireworks, dogs running under the bed/couch because of fireworks. I loved running around my grandparents' house as a child with sparklers in both hands waiting for the fireworks display. There always be fun treats, especially Cracker Jacks!
For this week's challenge, I altered a Cracker Jacks box using the rocket firework images from the Fourth of July stamp set by MyGrafico:

Aren't these images so much fun! I can think of so many ways to use them! Better yet...since they're digital, you can download them now to use for your own 4th of July projects! The winner of this week's MyGrafico Challenge will get to choose 2 of her favorite images from this set!!
Here's a close up of the rockets:
I printed out a few sizes (one of my favorite elements about digital stamps) and colored them with my Copics. After cutting each out, I attached them to the oval (cut from my Nestabilities die along with the scallop), popping the center rocket up using dimensionals.
Here's a close-up of the bottom corner:
I added cording around the striped DP center wrap, which (along with the stars DP) is free digital paper from Gina K - check it out here. Here's some great instructions on how to print digital papers from Jody (TexasJodyLynn on SCS). My final touch was the star/button/bow. I cut the star out on my Cricut using the George and Basic Shapes cartridge then glued the button and bow using Scotch/3M Scrapbooker's Glue.
Now for the math...here's a quick template for those of you who'd like to alter some Cracker Jacks boxes. This way, there's a surprise on the outside of the box as well as the inside!!
