- Wear green - CHECK. Did you? I hope so!
- Give elementary kiddos St. Patrick's scratch off Luck O' The Irish cards - CHECK. Funny story here: I told my first graders that I had a treat for them. They were excited until I reminded them that the leprechaun could play a trick (some of the scratch offs revealed 'bad' luck - i.e. an extra homework assignment) with this treat. One of the boys turns to the other and exclaims (yes, exclaims), "Oh no, it might be YAMS!" Now, picture me trying to contain all of my laughter! Where in the world did 'yams' come from? I just love it!
- Wash car - CHECK. That is if spraying off the salt residue & muck at the car wash counts.
- Deliver birthday gift to mom's neighbor & play with Stella (mom's pooch) - CHECK. CHECK.
- Post a new card on blog:
- CHECK. This is the other card that I created for the PC submission call. I love the concept & the general look, but think it needs a little pizzazz somewhere. Couldn't put my finger on it, so I left it alone!
- Visit those blogs that I haven't gotten to yet - well, I guess I'll be goin' :)
Details:
Stamps - sentiment (Happiness Messages-Hero Arts)
Ink - Chocolate Chip (SU!)
Paper - kraft, Chocolate Chip (SU!); white (Georgia Pacific); dp - Flower Shower Spring Matstack (DCWV)
Accessories - striped baker's twine (Martha Stewart), dimensionals (The Paper Studio)

Very cool card Stephanie! Yams... too funny!
Very cute card!! LOL @ Yams.....poor kid would rather do the extra homework than eat yams!!
They are so cute at that age. Jesse's best bud at school has a girl that likes him....they are 5 yrs old. Jesse informed him that he is to little to have a g/f because everyone knows you have to be tall to have a g/f. ???? I guess he equates tall with being older....lol.
ROTFL...yams!! I dare you to bring a can in, set it on your desk and just leave it there. No explanation. Torment!! Who knew? It could be a new form of discipline. Talking in line? Yams for you!
Your card is darling!! Oh my gosh, what a fab idea for Father's Day! And I love the colors!
wonderful card
cute!
Great card Stephanie. I think it would be great for men...not an easy task for me.

What a cute guy card. I've needed some inspiration as I need to make a few. This one is a great one. You are a to-do list maker too!
That is a great guy card! I have a recipe for sweet potato biscuits if ever you would like to feed them to your class . . . you could have them pass them around and eat them and THEN tell that boy he just ate yams!
