To tide me over, I made this card with the latest Flower of the Month set from PTI. I'm not totally satisfied with the card as a whole, but I like all the individual parts (tilted image, sentiment on vellum, October Afternoon dp, zig zag chain edge punch).
Hope your week is off to a good start. I have so much going on this week - hair cut tomorrow, Egg Fashion Show in my class (Wednesday & Thursday), get together with some girls at school on Wednesday, make Cake Pops for my high schoolers for their Advisor-Advisee period on Thursday, and my formal observation on Thursday. I will need that 4 day weekend!! And with the weather forecasted to be in the upper 70's, I absolutely can't wait!!
Details:
Stamps - Flower of the Month: Daffodils (PTI)
Paper - vellum, white, Groovy Guava, Chocolate Chip; October Afternoon - Ducks In A Row: Peek-a-Boo
Ink - StazOn; Copics
Accessories - button (Foof-a-la), gingham ribbon, zig zag chain edge punch

Love your daffodil! mine are just getting ready to open (if the rain ever stops and the sun comes out!?!?)
wonderful coloring on this and the sentiment on the vellum looks great!
Nice use of the vellum for the sentiment, I like it because then you get to see the entire image. My main problem is that deer like to eat tulip bulbs . . . they don't do so well once digested, I notice they don't want to bloom! :) This Fall, I will bug you to plant bulbs!
heyy girly!! How about some sunshsine to go alon with your beautiful flower card? Well...virtual sunshine anyway :) You have earned the sunshine blogger award....come by and pick it up when you get a moment!
Ooooh... gorgeous Stephanie!! I was noticing some yellow and white in the neighborhood today... so glad spring is here!!
Stephanie,
I love your daffodil! Great card...I just love PTI stamps too. I just realized I never signed up to be a follower...I am fixing that right now :)
Happy Easter!
Karin
Oh, I love the spring blooms too! You should totally do some bulbs in the Fall. They are so easy to plant! We don't have any here...I think Japan skips spring and goes right to summer after a full-up winter. Grr! ;) Love your card! Great use of the vellum for the sentiment!
I love the colors and the paper.
this is so pretty! love the daffodil. I love your vellum treatment too. I'm really into vellum lately for some reason. Your card is great!
This is so pretty! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Cake pops! I love those. I wish I could make those!
