- The car dealership where I bought my car 4 years ago called wanting me to consider trading in my car for a newer model. They're in need of Honda SUV's. So after a long day at Quiz Bowl (ugh!) and a hair cut appointment (yay!!), I went to see what they had to say. Long story short, I went back the next day after sleeping on it to finalize the deal on my new car. They didn't have the model I'm getting on the lot, so I should get it in a week or so. It was nice making a deal when I didn't have to.
- Oh speaking of Quiz Bowl....I hate riding a school bus!!! Especially when the bus driver smokes a cigar or pipe and the smell lingers on his clothes and I sit behind him. When we got back to our school, I had to lay down in the nurse's office (thank goodness no kids were there!!) until my nausea subsided :(
- I love my students EXCEPT when they ask me to write a letter of recommendation for the very next day. I'm too nice and tell them I will. grumble grumble!!
Okay....I'm done now...phew - thanks for listening!! I have my get together with my stampin' gals tomorrow, so I really excited to have some creating time! I've not created anything since Monday, and I'm itching to ink & glue something!

Sounds like a crazy week! The bus ride alone would have made me sick...even without the smoke smell! Yucko!

First of all that paper on your card is too cute! This will be my week to fall behind because all the kids will be home from school so there will be no alone time. Congrats on the new car, and it is a thrill to have it be a choice and not a necessity, isn't it? And I couldn't agree more with you about school bus rides. The last time I was on one I was volunteering to help with a junior high trip and that vowed to never do that again.
