Here's the sketch:

and my card:

I wanted to make a St. Patrick's Day card that didn't scream leprechauns and four-leaf clovers. I'm SOOO happy with how this turned out!! I found this Irish wish online:
Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!
-then printed it on cardstock. There are so many beautiful blessings or wishes that would work wonderfully, but I really liked this one. I may even make a few of these because I can't decide who I will send it to :)
Details:
Paper - DP (Signature Suite by Jen Wilson - Earthtone Stripes), Old Olive, Groovy Guava, River Rock, white
Ink - Old Olive
Accessories - felt heart (JoAnn's), ribbon (Michael's), Cuttlebug embossing folder (Swiss Dots), copper brads, button, Fiskars border punch (Treading Water), thread/sewing machine, computer generated saying (Bookworm font), Nestabilities
Thanks for stopping by!!

You did a terrific job. It's so pretty. I love the stitching, and the ribbon tied on your button. Great card!
You did a great job on the card Stephanie. I love the colours you used and the detail (love the little heart). This is a "classy" St. Paddy's day card.
Oh my gosh, this is just so danged sweet!! I am loving the color choices and that Irish blessing just brings it all home. Fabulous! Thanks so much for playing! Hope you come back next week for our next Twisted Thursday!!
Oh, I love this! The colors are amazing! Really, really cool and thought out! Fabulous interpretation of the sketch!
What a nice St. Patrick's Day card. I fear I am forever making them the same old way and I like how you stepped away from shamrocks and leprechauns. That saying is really nice - I may have to print that off myself! I also liked the paper you chose - it really sets off the other colors you used.
Nicely done. That is one great sentiment. Glad you played along and I wish you luck
Being Irish...I approve! Love that you didn't go the typical route...thanks for participating in the TT challenge...take a look at our 222 challenge going on right now! S2G...Deidre

Wonderful creation...the layout is really neat.
oohh, that's so pretty! What a great color combination and what an original St Patricks day card. That poem is beautiful - thanks for sharing!
what a fantastic poem! This is just adorable!!!
Very pretty. That large circle really makes the focal point of the card and the theme of the various types of scallops is so pretty. Cool colors too.
Oh I do love this! What a great Irish blessing you found and the dp is perfect! Love the scallops!
Love the verse you used here and that paper is great.
