There's a fabulous event going on at Paper Craft Planet raising funds for Alzheimer's Disease - Stampin Out Alzheimer's. Jen Tapler is hosting this event to honor her father (read the touching story here) - 100% of the proceeds go to the American Alzheimer Association. For a minimum donation of $5, you'll support a great cause and get a ton of freebies, contests, and challenges available to you. The event is going on for a week (until Sunday, May 31st), so be sure to check it out!!

The first event I participated in was creating a digi scrapbook page (GASP!!!). I'm not a big fan of scrapbooking. I made one for my mom last year - it took forever. Maybe I'd feel differently if I had kids, but who knows?!? I wanted to give the whole digi-scrapping a try, and there's a free kit (Flip Flop Tan) by Libby Weifenbach over at SOA to download and use in a challenge.

I had such fun with this!!! I think I may try the digi-scrapping again in the future. I had this photo of me & my grandma on my computer from when I was creating my mom's scrapbook. I love how the bright colors of the kit fit so well with our late 70's fashion!

YOu did a really good job on this page. Love the layout. I tried digi scrapping but got frustrated with it. I may have to try it again.
Good for you, what a great cause! Neat colors and I like your layout.
What a fun project - I like the bright colors!
This is a great page. You did a fantastic job for your first digi project. I haven't tried one yet. Maybe I just should go do one and see what it's like. This is a wonderful page!
Great job, I love the bright colors. What a sweet picture!
