You're Too Kind

Hi all! Hope you had a great weekend! It was HOT here today! Yikes! Perfect time for a little trip to Target :) I'm proud that I still went walking and I'm going out first thing tomorrow too. I really would like to get back into a regular routine b/c it really makes me feel good.

I'm happy to say that I back on a regular routine with creating (and posting). It seems that my desire to make stuff has returned...yippee!! Here's another thank you that I created for an end-of-the-year gift. I hope it arrived safely!

I just love the butterfly set from PTI! And I would have never guessed that as I've never been a fan of butterflies! I guess when you see so many things that you like that have butterflies your mind starts to change :)

On a separate note, I'm getting in a lot of reading this summer too. Yay! I've already finished Three Cups of Tea and I'll probably finish The Shack tonight. I'm listening to Water For Elephants on my iPod as I walk and I just bought One Day today at Target (please pronounce as Tar-jzay for rhyming effect). I'm really knocking off my list of 'To Read', especially when every movie I've watched lately leaves me wondering why I watched the whole thing. I signed up for swaptree Friday and I'll be sending out 2 books tomorrow. Does anyone use swaptree? I'm a big advocate of the library, but I love that I can swap out the books I have bought for others I'd like to read.

Details:
Stamps - Butterfly Dreams (PTI); Whimsical Words (SU!)
Paper - white, kraft; dp - DCWV (Summer Dream matstack)
Ink - Sweet Blush (PTI), Chocolate Chip (PTI)
Accessories - nesties, white grosgrain ribbon, pop dots

Yayyyyyy you are back!!! I love this card...sooo pretty!!! Its been HOT here too but late this evening it was soooo nice...no humidity and a breeze....in TN??? WOW!!!! I just peeked at swaptree and I will absolutely check them out more thoroughly since I seen games and movies on the front page! Another great book swap place is paperbackswap.com. I'm ashamed to say I haven't picked up a book all summer (shhhhhh)

Love the butterfly card! So pretty. I have never heard of swaptree, so I will have to take a look. I recently read "The Help" and it was soooo good. I don't always feel comfortable recommending books, different tastes and all, but this is a total winner if you haven't read it yet. Three cups of Tea has been on my must read list forever...Maybe I will make that my next choice :) Sounds like you are enjoying your summer break from school.

Stephanie, I've actually read all of those books except One Day! All very good. Well... Three Cups of Tea was interesting, but I wish there was a little more emotion in the writing. I'm reading Forgotten Garden right now, so good. Great card.

That is one pretty card. I was never a fan of butterflies too much either, but they've grown on me. I really liked Three Cups of Tea, what did you think of it? I have never heard of swaptree, no, but it sounds cool.
